Many psychologists believe that creating the space of trust and security allows people to open up. On the contrary, I am convinced that a good way to tranform people is to put them out of their safety box. Sometimes, life does it for them and the change happens naturally. Many come just because this is exactly what happened already, but then the question is what next. Everyone is ready for change when it truly arrives. You are ready to sleep under the bridge rather than be in the place of deeply acknowledged pain. Every real change is radical. But going through and conquering your depression requires processes of unpacking the complex emotional, psychic, physical and social issues that surround and make you unhappy.
